As part of Colorado Music Festival’s Celebration of Jewish Composers
You are cordially invited to a Brundibar Bonanza!
Brundibar, the chidren’s opera by Czech composer Hans Krása, was performed more than 50 times in the Terezin concentration camp, as part of a Nazi propaganda effort. Join Colorado Music Festival at Chautauqua Auditorium on June 28th and 29th as we present this timeless story that unites kids and their animal friends against the town bully. Original cast member – and Holocaust survivor - Ela Weissberger will travel to Boulder to be part of this special experience. Brundibar is produced in collaboration with the University of Colorado Opera Program.
